Significance Of The Mount Arafah

The mount Arafah  is a granite hill east of mecca in the plain of the Arfat. The hill of mount Arafah is about 20 km southeast of mecca and this mount reaches about 70m in height and this is also called mount of mercy and according to Islamic tradition, the hill is the place where the prophet Muhammad stood and delivered the farewell sermon to the Muslims. The Arafat is a holy place where god has appointed to receive his guests. In the hill of the mount Arafat, a pilgrim is like a dead man who has been detached from everything and wearing a shroud and waiting for the god’s mercy.Arafat was the place where mount arfrat adam and eve met once again when they were sent down on earth. The word Arafat means fragrance and the plain of the Arafat are place on which Allah’s mercy forgiveness and many hujjaj desire to called the mountain of Rahamah.When the pilgrims reach Arafat, they take places in their camps and wait the call for the prayer is not announced. When the prayer is done, the hujjaj move back to their camps and scorching sun of Arabia.  The holly guest of Allah, rest at this place and performing many act of the worship.

On the 9^th month of Dhul al hijjah pilgrim go to Arafat from mina that is very important part of the hajj. The holly guest of Allah spends the whole day on the mountain and pray personal strength in the future. The Arafat hajj 2017 rituals end at sunset and pilgrim move to the pace of Muzdalifah for the prayer of the magraib and isha as well as for the short rest. Moreover, the level area surround the mount is called plain of Arafat. The mount Arafat is very important place in Islam and pilgrims spend the afternoon on the ninth day of dhulHijjah.
